Webatvantage is based in Belgium and therefore follows the Belgian legislation on cookies.
2. Purpose and usefulness of cookies
Webatvantage wishes to inform each visitor of the platform/website as well as possible about his/her rights under the Belgian legislation on cookies, and about which cookies Webatvantage uses. 4. Managing cookies
Make sure that cookies are enabled in your browser. To enable cookies, perform the following actions:
For browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer
- In Internet Explorer, click on 'Internet Options' in the 'Tools' menu.
- On the 'Privacy' tab, move the settings slider to 'low' or 'accept all cookies' (setting above 'medium' disables cookies).
- Click on 'OK.
For browser - Mozilla Firefox
- Click 'Firefox' in the upper left corner of your browser, then click 'Options'.
- On the 'Privacy' tab, make sure the 'Let websites know I don't want to be tracked' is unchecked.
- Click on 'OK.
For browser - Google Chrome
- Click on the three dots next to the browser bar at the top of your browser window and choose 'Options'.
- Find the 'Privacy and security' section and click on 'content settings'.
- Click on the 'cookies' option.
- Now select 'Allow sites to save and read cookie data'.
For browser - Safari
- Select 'Preferences' from the task menu. (The task menu is in the upper right corner of the Safari window and looks like a cogwheel or click on 'Safari' in the extended task menu.)
- Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called "Cookies and other website data.
- Indicate that you accept cookies.
If you wish to consult the Webatvantage platform/website, it is recommended that you have cookies enabled. However, if you prefer not to, as a visitor you are free to disable cookies through your browser settings. This can be done in the following ways:
In your browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer
- In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button and select Internet Options.
- Select the Privacy tab and under Settings, move the slider up to block all cookies. Click OK.
For browser - Mozilla Firefox
- Click the menu button and select 'Preferences'.
- Select the 'Privacy & Security' panel and go to the 'History' section.
- Next to 'Firefox will', set to 'Use custom settings for history'.
- Set 'Accept third-party cookies' to 'Never'.
- Close the 'about: preferences' page. Changes you made will be saved automatically.
For browser - Google Chrome
- Select 'More Settings' from the browser toolbar.
- At the bottom of the page, select the 'Advanced' option.
- Under 'Privacy and security', select 'Content settings'.
- Select 'Cookies.
- Uncheck 'Allow sites to store and read cookie data'.
For browser - Safari
- Select 'Preferences' from the task menu. (The task menu is located at the top right of the Safari window and looks like a cogwheel or click 'Safari' in the extended task menu.)
- Click on the Privacy tab. Find the section called "Cookies and other website data.
- Indicate that you do not accept cookies.

5. Visitors' rights
Since cookies may constitute processing of personal data, you as a data subject have the right to the lawful and secure processing of personal data. As a data subject, you can exercise the following rights:
- Right to oppose: If there are weighty and justified reasons, you can oppose the processing of personal data.
- Right of access: Any data subject who proves his or her identity has a right of access to information regarding the existence or non-existence of processing operations on his or her personal data, as well as the purposes of such processing, the categories of data concerned by such processing, and the categories of recipients to whom the data are disclosed.
- Right of rectification: Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be rectified or even erased at the request of the data subject.
